For A Few Weeks. . .
I've read a lot in sports pages about the advent of tiered pricing for baseball tickets -- a development that's been both panned and praised.
I'm afraid I have a different take. Because as long as I can remember, a tiered pricing plan has been in place for every sporting event I've ever attended. It's called scalping, and there isn't a better example of market economics in action anywhere. If it isn't legal where you live, it ought to be.
