Is It Too Much Too
Is It Too Much Too Ask. . . For the various media outlets around the country that print baseball standings to let us know who is currently leading the race for the wild card playoff spot? Near the end of the regular season, it's customary for teams that have clinched a division title to have a small "y" placed next to their name in the standings. Would it be too much to ask that the team that's currently on top in the wild card race to have a small "w" placed next to their spot? And, to top things off, why not add another row to the standings indicating "GBW" aka "games in back of wild card leader."
Normally, we don't see mention of the baseball wild card until September. I think it's time to move that date up.
