Daschle Backs Down: It didn't take long, but Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle backed off his comments concerning President Bush characterizing Iraq, Iran and North Korea as the "axis of evil." Maybe sooner or later, Senator Daschle will begin to realize that if you want to attack a President during wartime and score some political points you need to work harder. In the immortal words of Jim Rome, "have a take, and don't suck."
