Hearsay Should Be Disallowed

Over the past week or so during ESPN's Sports Center, the network has been experimenting with an on-air game they're calling "Hearsay," a bastardized version of the inexplicably popular party game, Taboo.

The details of the game are meaningless -- all you need to know is that it isn't terribly entertaining -- and the highights and analysis come to a screeching halt in order for one of the on-air hosts to play the game with a guest athlete.

Memo to the producer of Sports Center: stop the madness now. All the game manages to do is make me reach for my remote to try to find anything at all to watch instead of Hearsay. Granted, I'm not the first to notice this: credit needs to go to Steve Czaban from WTEM-AM in Washington, D.C. for pointing it out on his show this past week.

hi, i think its a pretty cool addition to the show.
theres only so much highlights they can show and whatnot.

altho the game itself is kind of stagnant and could/should be spiced up a bit. or perhaps..made into its own show. whatever tho.

opinions are like pine trees
