In Atlanta, AOL Time Warner has agreed to sell the Atlanta Hawks and Thrashers to a local consortium, edging out millionaire Texas auto dealer David McDavid. Steve Ovadia at Puck Update blames the businessman's repetitive name for the collapse of the deal, and I have to agree. I went to baseball camp as a child with a kid named Danny Dann, and I didn't trust him either.

Sirhan Sirhan forever dealt a crippling blow to the reputations of people with repetitive names. Of course, Boutros Boutros-Ghali didn't help the cause much either.
Can anyone think of a positive example of a person with a repetitive name? A virtual kick in the 'nads to anyone who mentions Marky Mark.
