Open Casting Call For Goons
Don't know what to make of this as of yet:
Ice hockey players can brawl to their heart's content and win $50,000 in Winnipeg promoter Darryl Wolski's pay-per-view hockey-fight tournament.
At hockey games, Wolski says, "people stand up when there's a fight." He wants 50 to 100 fighters for Hockey Gladiators and has encouragement from cable TV distributors.
Brawls would last one to two minutes, with judges determining the winners. The champion gets the $50,000.
Man, I'd love to be a judge for this. Where do I sign up?
