My dad and I had 6 tickets to all the first round games at the 94 World Cup in Stanford. I scalped one for the USA v Brazil quarterfinal on July 4th with over 105,000 people at the game. Probably around mid 90 degrees, very hot.
I walk into the stadium and start going towards my seat. There is a rectangle of all yellow behind the north goal. I look at the section # above and it was my section. I start counting rows, and my row was right in the middle of the yellow.
I had a USA flag wrapped around my head and was able to sneak a 12 pack of Moosehead bottles past the guards [even UN guards] at the front gate. They guy who checked me didnt even care.
The whole game everyone was standing up with whistles bells, and horns doing some sort of samba dance. Of course everyone was pissed I was in the middle with a USA bandanna on my head. "USA go home".
Then I started pulling out beers and a flask and wouldnt you know it, all smiles.

Eric, you've been to a DC United game when Cienfuegos is on the other team, right? Seems kind of similar.
