But No Mojito. . .

After a workout recently, a group of New York Rangers rookies stopped by the Carnegie Deli for lunch -- where the team's top draft pick, Al Montoya, discovered the famous eaterie had named a sandwich in his honor:

The "Al Cubano" resembles the typical Cuban sandwich — ham, roasted turkey, Swiss cheese, mustard, pickles on a pressed roll — and all 15 draft picks ate them, or tried. Al was the only one who could finish the belly bomb.

Sounds good. . .

The Cuban sandwich is the best sandwich ever made. Right up there with Bacardi rum, Andy Garcia (in his early career) and the Buena Vista Social Club as Cuba's greatest gifts to the world. But then, I'm biased.

But roast turkey? I don't think so. Roast pork is better. (Yes, you also include ham)

Ah yes, and the mojito, as well.
