Just A Thought. . .
If I could arrange it, I'd be willing to trade another USA Olympic Basketball hiccup if it meant I could get an American victory in the 2006 World Cup in return.
UPDATE: Erstwhile golfing buddy Charles Austin has his own thoughts on the pathetic performance in Athens yesterday. Nota bene: the American's next match is tomorrow against the home team, Greece. No doubt the locals wil be out for blood.

amen to that. although i think the first year we can seriously contend for the cup will be 2010

Thanks for the link Eric. FWIW, I shot an 81 on Saturday and that included putting three balls in the water off the 17th tee. I look forward to our next outing, though I guess I'll be giving strokes.
