The Five Finger Discount
By now, I'm sure most of you are familiar with the sight of newly crowned champions being forced to immediately don official caps and t-shirts celebrating their victory. On Sunday, D.C. United midfielder Ben Olsen got a cap and shirt after the team won their fourth MLS Cup on Sunday, but he didn't get home with one.
Off Wing's secret West Coast correspondent explains:
After the game, the lads came over, and as I was shaking Olsen's hand, he had his team MLS cup champion shirt and hat in his other hand on the wall so he could maintain balance/control. Well it became a free for all and as people (instinctively - hey it's free, it's me) saw an opportunity to grab his stuff, I decided to do the honorable thing, and got the hat, twisted the shirt until he had to let go, and ripped it out everyone's hand. So I am now the proud owner of an official (and team issued) MLS cup champion hat AND T-shirt! Looks damn good on me.

For those of us not able to take advantage of an overwhelmed Soccer player, the same hat and shirt are available for $16.95 each.
