An Odd Way To Remember Clint Malarchuk
Some things simply have to be seen to be believed. Such is the case with the custom painted figure depicting the horrific injury Buffalo Sabres goalie Clint Malarchuk suffered in 1989 in a game against the St. Louis Blues.
There isn't a hockey fan in North America worth their salt that doesn't remember this horrible event, and I'm perplexed as to why somebody would go out of their way to depict it in such a manner.
What's next -- maybe a diorama depicting Dale Earnhardt's last ride at Daytona?
Thanks to Deadspin and Jack Kukoda for the links.
