Sometimes it's hard to believe that things used to be just like this in the NHL. Here's a brawl between the Islanders and Flyers from January 1979 that's worth a few minutes of your time:
I think both Clark Gillies and Behn Wilson left the penalty boxes to get some extra licks in. Amazing.
