Tuesday's News from Your Friendly Neighborhood Bloggers
Again the big news is the release of the Caps' opening night roster, and who was cut from it. On Frozen Blog has a nice opening night lineup, including personal info and last year's clubs.
Over at the Caps Insider Tarik has the final details on the last few to make the team, as well as the last few to leave. Steckel has joined Schultz in getting a place to stay, so he's in. Klepis wasn't invited to take part in the team photo. However, he remains a restricted free agent and will continue to practice with the team in hopes of getting a contract. The last cut sent Steve Eminger to the IR.
japers' Rink has their predictions before the cuts were made. It has a nice bit on Ben Clymer, applauding the work he's done for the team and hoping him well in the future.
And last but not least both Ted's Take and Dump and Chase give a little insight into the Caps golf outing yesterday. By all accounts it sounds like it was a resounding success.
CORRECTION: Earlier we reported that Klepis was no longer with the organization. The sentence has since been corrected.
