The Dog Ate My Homework
I'm sorry for the dearth of posts on Monday. You'd figure with a full weekend of playoff baseball, NFL football, the Women's World Cup, and another rousing victory for Tiger Woods on the PGA Tour (with a new Nike driver), that I'd have all sorts of material to mine for commentary.
And I would have, if I hadn't spent the weekend performing the duties of the Best Man at an old friend's wedding. By the time I plunked myself down in front of my laptop on Sunday night, I didn't have any energy left for posting.
Despite my paltry showing on Monday, about 300 readers showed up anyway. I appreciate the support, and I think it's time to do something to fill in the gaps in my posts. So, starting today, I've added Scott Frank as a guest blogger here at Off Wing.
Scott works in public relations at a Washington, D.C.-area company, and spent a couple of years in broadcasting working as a DJ. He is also a contributing writer to That Sports Thing, an email newsletter where he's done excellent work. Best of all, Scott knows his sports, and I think you will appreciate his wicked sense of humor. Look for him in this space soon.
