Hockey Night In Washington: Caps vs. Pens

The eyes of the entire hockey world are on Washington, as tonight's game is being billed as a clash between Alex Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby.

Heck, I admit I'm pretty jazzed too, as I've never seen Crosby anywhere but on television. I'm counting on it being an absolute zoo tonight.

I'd normally have more to say before game time, but I've been pretty pressed since getting off the plane from Las Vegas very early on Saturday morning. I'll have more from the arena before game time, that's for sure.

See you then.

FROM THE ARENA: Got here a little early tonight, and I'm getting to see a couple of Caps out on the ice in shorts and crocs just screwing around. Mike Vogel tells me that Alex Ovechkin, Alexander Semin and Dainius Zubrus are usually out on the ice first.

Funny enough, Sidney Crosby is out on the ice right now too, just flinging the puck against the boards and getting loose. Here are the pre-game previews:

Watching Evgeni Malkin live will be a treat as well. I got to see him live for the first time last Saturday night, and for at least that night he was easily the best player on the ice.
